Get hands-on with Artec 3D scanning at the star-studded Space Tech Expo USA

Now returning for an eleventh year, North America’s premier aerospace innovation exhibition brings many of the industry’s major players together under one roof. One of these exhibitors, Artec Ambassador Rapid Scan 3D, is allowing anyone that attends its booth during the show to get hands-on with three disruptive 3D scanners.

Those that do visit the company will be able to get up close and personal with Artec Space Spider, a high-resolution, metrology-grade device that’s capable of achieving a 3D point accuracy of just 0.05 mm. Artec Ray, a tripod-mountable laser scanner with a 110-meter range, is also expected to be on-show, as is the groundbreaking Artec Leo.

Fully wireless, powered by AI, and featuring a built-in display, Leo changes the face of 3D scanning, by making it possible to rapidly capture objects in high definition, without users having to contend with cables or monitor progress via a PC.
