How Artec 3D is supporting Ukraine

Artec Ray, Eva, and Space Spider on demo in Japan’s INTERMOLD Nagoya

| 2-2 Kinjo-futo, Minato-ku, Nagoya, Japan (Nagoya, Japan)

Organized by the Japan Die & Mold Industry Association, this year’s INTERMOLD Nagoya trade show will be big! Around 50,000 are expected to attend. It’s really no surprise though given the impressive thematic scope of the show covering metal machine tools, mold bases, CAD/CAM/CAE systems, rapid prototyping, and, of course, 3D scanning and printing. And this is just a sampling of what’s to come! There will also be keynote talks, workshops, and seminars for a more interactive engagement.

Best of all, visitors will get to see Artec’s latest 3D scanner – Artec Ray. This long-range laser 3D scanner can capture large objects from as far as 110 meters away. Boasting ultra-high precision, clean data capture and superfast speed, Artec Ray helps you capture geometries of ship propellers, airplanes, buildings, and even wind turbines. All this and it’s also quick and easy to use.

At the INTERMOLD Nagoya fair, Artec’s partner Data Design will also be demonstrating two more from Artec’s line of 3D imaging solutions in addition to Artec Ray. For example, Artec Eva, which in many ways is a universal 3D scanning device capable of performing different types of tasks with impressive facility. It’s structured light technology, smart and light design, and portability make it a favorite among many industries. It’s played a starring role in speeding up casting scenarios and enabling better quality control for many leading US foundries. Meanwhile, Artec Space Spider is a great fit specifically for CAD users and engineers, especially for those wanting to capture small machining tools and molding parts and working systems. Tiny details, sharp edges, complex geometries can be easily picked up and digitized into 3D form by Space Spider.
