Scan-to-CAD solutions to be demoed by KLIB at Intec trade fair

A leading expo for the metal processing industry in Germany and Europe, Intec 2017 will offer a comprehensive overview of the entire spectrum of the manufacturing, tool and special-purpose machinery sectors. Artec’s Gold Partner KLIB will be at the show to demo the capabilities of Artec 3D scanners Eva and Space Spider as integral parts of a complete product development chain.

Artec’s portable scanners are used by engineers and designers to quickly capture the geometry and texture of a variety of objects in fine detail. The resulting 3D mesh models can then be printed out or exported into Geomagic Design X and SOLIDWORKS at the click of a button directly from Artec Studio 11 3D data processing and editing software. Modified and tested in reverse engineering and CAD environments, solid 3D models are then manufactured and put to use to improve the performance of existing machines and systems.
