With vibes so cheerful and cozy it would seem perfectly at home in a hobbit house, this colorful chair also features a bold, modern design, making it a perfect object for demonstrating the new Leo’s capabilities and features.
Presented here in stunning 3D, vibrant color, and high resolution, the chair was scanned with the new and even more powerful Artec Leo in just 7 minutes. By combining the scans with photogrammetry data (reserve a quick 10 minutes for taking photographs) our 3D scanning specialist was able to digitize both the elegant outline and the riotous pattern of the chair.
To achieve both perfect geometry and exuberant color representation, we relied on precise texture-to-geometry mapping, so every pattern whether checkered or hound’s-toothed here appears so true to life you can almost feel it under your fingertips just by looking at it. Leo’s smart scanning modes let you bring your data together that much faster, so after 6 minutes of HD reconstruction and 25 minutes of seamless processing we were done with the model.
Full coverage from all possible angles resulted in every single detail present, making this chair as lifelike as one you might see (or want!) in your living room, and a shining example of the scan quality Leo’s state-of-the-art algorithms can guarantee.
Get up close: Zoom in and rotate the chair to explore the rich, high-contrast texture of the patchwork that comes in all kinds of colors, shapes, and sizes.
