Chinese coin

This coin was thick enough to stand its edge and was captured in just two scans. The second scan was merely to cover the edge that the coin stood on during the first pass. All the surface characteristics and irregularities existing in the original coin have been vividly captured and retained in the 3D model, from the multi-color bronze and patina, to the scratches and pits, and the intricate shapes present in the tiny Chinese characters. As well, the reflective metal surfaces of the coin caused no difficulties for Space Spider during scanning.
